Clubs mode has the potential to be a major esports event.

I am Roman 33 years old, a former professional esports player and current product manager. I have been playing football games since WE6 and have consistently reached Elite level in Ultimate Team since FIFA 20. I first tried Club mode in FIFA 22, and I believe it is an esports discipline with enormous potential—an experience completely different from UT. However, at present, it still feels like a niche game mode, and the community should put more effort into promoting it.

1: Please consider adding matchmaking restrictions, such as hidden ELO or designated game lobbies similar to 2K’s street courts. Players could choose to join high-level lobbies with entry thresholds based on level, average match rating, or ELO. (I’m sure many of us have encountered questionable players in random matchmaking.) This would greatly improve the experience for those who want to play serious football.

2: If possible, please add at least two observer slots in 11v11 matches, along with historical match results and replays. Many players around the world are already organizing their own community leagues, and the lack of an observer system significantly affects the viewing experience.

3: Differentiating player roles by archetype is a good start, but 13 archetypes still feels like too many. Experience consumables are a helpful addition, but they are far from sufficient. I hope more activities that grant direct experience points can be added.

4: I look forward to official club tournaments hosted under the EA banner. 11v11 matches would offer a completely new competitive experience.
