Can we please fix the defense mechanics?

I understand you guys want to make the game accessible to anyone, but it does not make a sense that an attacker with the ball changes direction faster than a defender without the ball.

Also, the clipping of defenders seems random at times, and missing a tackle penalizes you way too much.

In the end, the current mechanics is making the game extremely monotonous. 99% of players just pass the ball to their 9 the quickest possible and then start dancing until they pass the defenders and score a goal.
