Disconnect Controller
This issue might not affect everyone, but I wanted to point it out.
When I’m playing solo in modes like Rival, Champion, or other Events that have me play against another user on the TV or monitor using an external controller, there’s a problem when switching to handheld mode.
After I disconnect the console from the dock and unplug the external controller, the game doesn’t automatically recognize the Joy-Cons attached to the console as Player 1. Because of this, I lose control and can’t continue playing unless I reconnect the original external controller or restart the game.
It would make the experience much smoother if the game could automatically switch control to the Joy-Cons when the external controller is disconnected, instead of requiring a restart. This small change would help avoid unnecessary frustration and interruptions during gameplay.
