Missing"None/Indicator Only"option for Player Info Above Head
Hello EA Team,
I am writing to report a frustrating UI restriction / layout issue regarding the "Player Info Above Head" setting, specifically within the Player Career Mode in EA SPORTS FC 26.
The Issue:
In the Game Settings -> Visual tab, when trying to turn off the player name or player number that appears above the controlled player's head, the game restricts the choices.
If "Player Name Bar" is Disabled, the "Player Info Above Head" forces us to choose only between "Player Name" or "Player Number".
There is completely NO option for "None" or "Indicator Only" (which would just leave the classic triangle icon).
If we switch "Player Name Bar" to Enabled, the option below gets locked entirely.
Even with the Trainer hidden and all Accessibility options toggled off, the game constantly forces a text/number overlay above the ball carrier's head in Player Career Mode. This completely ruins the dynamic match-day realism and immersion of the game mode.
Requested Solution:
In past titles (and other game modes), players had the freedom to completely disable overhead text to enjoy a clean HUD. Please patch this menu logic so that Player Career Mode users can also select "None" or "Indicator Only" for the overhead display, just like in Kick-Off or Ultimate Team.
Thank you for your attention to Career Mode immersion.
Best regards
