PC Graphics Optimization – Expanded Granular Settings for Rendering Quality
The Request:
I am writing to request that the development team break down the current "Rendering Quality" preset into individual, granular toggles. While the simplified options are accessible, PC players need more control to balance visual fidelity with stable performance.
Specifically, I request the addition of the following independent settings:
- Texture Quality: To manage VRAM usage separately from lighting effects.
- Lighting/Shadow Quality: To adjust demanding global illumination and shadow resolution without affecting asset detail.
- Tessellation: To control the geometric complexity of the pitch and stadium environments.
- Anti-Aliasing (AA) Method: Manual selection between TAA, FXAA, and newer upscaling technologies (DLSS/FSR/XeSS) with sharpening sliders.
The "Why":
Currently, "Rendering Quality" acts as a "black box" that toggles multiple demanding features at once. For users on mid-range or mobile hardware, this makes it difficult to troubleshoot issues like micro-stuttering or inconsistent frametimes. By allowing us to lower specific "heavy" features like Tessellation or Lighting while keeping Textures on High, we can achieve a smooth 60+ FPS experience without the game looking blurry or flat.
