Rivals bounties when opponents quits?!

I know EA have put in heaps of time with deciding who rage quit and rewarding bonuses etc. However in rivals they forgot that the bounties get overuled by an opponent leaving the match. Needed a hatrick for one player, went 2 nil up and opponent rage quit? How is that my fault and why is my bounty gone.
