Ruined rare gold items market

Why has EA ruined the rare gold assets market? Buying rare kits, badges etc and quick selling was one of the few ways for non-traders to make a few coins and by setting the minimum list price at 500 this has now been ruined. Nice way to screw over people who can’t be perpetually online.
