Simultaneous Match Day and Title-Race Live Updates

 During crucial final weeks of a season or title-deciding match days, simultaneous matches completely dictate your success, yet you are left in the dark until your own match finishes.

The Suggestion: Implement a small, toggleable "Live Scores" ticker in the corner of the screen during simultaneous final-day matches or going to the next rounds of leagues or any other tournaments. 

Commentators should occasionally interrupt your game with live audio updates (e.g., "A goal has gone in at Anfield, which changes the top of the table!") to mirror real TV broadcasts.
