Spin backs

Agreed it's genuinely nuts that this is even possible in the game. It in no way mimics real play where shielding the ball is more cat and mouse and mostly not for extended periods where the defender is committed to getting the ball rather than just maintaining position until teammates are in better positions. The CPU should not be able to do it at all and you could solve it for humans by deteriorating shielding actions by movement or by time (I'd use something like an exponential decay for it rather than linear) to more mimic real life.
