Subject: FC 26 Feature Request: Unlock Icon Transfers for Offline Career Mode
Dear EA Sports Development Team,
I am writing to express a growing frustration within the console community regarding the accessibility of Icons and Heroes in Offline Manager Career Mode.
Currently, PC players can easily bypass squad restrictions using third-party tools to transfer any classic player to any club. On console, however, we are arbitrarily locked out of these legendary players unless they are specifically released via a Season Pass or a temporary "glitch" in the transfer menus.
The Request:
We request a dedicated "Legacy Transfer" feature within the "Edit Teams" menu. This would allow offline users to move Icons and Heroes from the "Soccer Aid/Classic XI" squads into any professional club's roster before starting a Career Mode.
Why this matters:
- Creative Freedom: Many of us enjoy "Return of the Legend" scenarios (e.g., Rooney to Man Utd, Neymar to Santos, Henry to Arsenal). These storylines keep the offline mode fresh and engaging.
- Console Parity: There is no competitive reason to lock these players in an offline, single-player mode. PC users already have this freedom; console users simply want the same ability to customize their private experience.
- Player Retention: Providing the community with the tools to create their own "scenarios" increases the longevity of the game without requiring constant content updates from your team.
We aren't asking for these players to be free in Ultimate Team—only for the freedom to use the content already in the game’s database for our offline, personal saves.
Sincerely,
A Dedicated Career Mode Player
