Technical Dribbling post-patch discussion

The new patch is great, defending is now perfect in my opinion and passing does actually feel better, and I must also agree that technical dribbling was a bit overpowered before this patch. However, it has now been run into the ground, it is unusable, a game mechanic that can not be used is not a great mechanic if you ask me. It should be tweaked a bit. Not saying it should make players with technical dribbling+ faster that sprinting players, no. But it should give you some control in-between sprinting and jogging, because as of right now changes of direction while technical dribbling send the ball miles away from the player and that is NOT good. It now doesn't feel so "technical" anymore, It should be tweaked in a middle ground between post-patch and before the patch. 
What are your thoughts about technical dribbling right now, what do you guys think?
