Unfair Transfer Market Ban and No Real Support Response

To the FC 26 Community and EA Support Team,

I am writing this post to express my frustration and disappointment with how my case has been handled.

I received a Transfer Market ban that I strongly believe was applied unfairly. Since then, I have submitted multiple appeals, but every response I received appeared to be automated. At this point, I am not even sure whether my case has ever been reviewed by a real person.

What makes this even more frustrating is that I continued to support the game despite the ban. I purchased the Premium Pass, participated in events, completed objectives, and invested countless hours into FC 26. Yet whenever I try to seek help, I receive the same generic responses instead of a proper explanation.

Because of this ban, I have fallen significantly behind other players. Without access to the Transfer Market, I was unable to complete many objectives efficiently, missed valuable opportunities to earn SP, and could not fully participate in content that other players had access to. This has directly affected my progress throughout the season.

I understand that rules must be enforced, but players also deserve a fair review process and the opportunity to communicate with an actual support representative. Receiving the same automated message over and over again is not a solution.

This post is not only about my account. It is about the lack of transparency and meaningful communication that many players experience when dealing with support. We deserve a system where cases are genuinely reviewed and where players receive clear explanations instead of automated replies.

The time, money, and effort that players invest in this game should be valued more than a copy-and-paste response.

All I am asking for is a fair review of my account by a real person and a proper explanation of why this action was taken.

I found the solution to 97 Evon's injustices caused by the game and turning the card into trash. It works 100%.

  • I also received a Transfer Market ban about 14 hours ago for alleged Coin distribution / Coin trading through the Transfer Market.

The funny part is that I wasn’t even using the market at that moment. I was having breakfast.

When I checked the Web App again, only one card had sold while I was eating: TOTW Savona. I bought him for 35k and sold him for 120k.

That price gap happened because Savona was included in last week’s SBC-related card pool, which caused his price to crash. Two weeks ago, this card was around 400k on the market and almost impossible to find.

I don’t know if this specific transaction had anything to do with my market ban. At this point, I honestly don’t even know what to think anymore.

You never really know how EA interprets its own market rules.

Through trading, I have made over 10 million Coins on the market. Some cards made me 200k or 300k profit. Some cards made me lose over a million Coins.

That is what trading is supposed to be: risk, timing, profit, and loss.

But with EA, you never know which card you buy or sell will suddenly be considered suspicious. You never know when a normal market trade will be interpreted as Coin distribution.

In the end, the rules seem to be whatever EA says they are, and appeals often feel useless.

I was also market banned in FC 25. That was during my very first month of playing football games. I didn’t even know third-party Coin trading existed.

Back then, I bought cheap bronze cards and was lucky enough to sell them at higher prices. I thought it was a good market strategy.

The result was a Transfer Market ban.

I spent a lot of time searching for information, trying to understand what exactly I had done wrong.

In FC 26, I became much more careful with my market activity. I stopped selling bronze cards at high prices. I also avoided selling too many cards to the same buyer or buying too many cards from the same seller. Sometimes, when several cards were listed at the exact same price, I would even worry that they might belong to the same person.

After playing this game for 10 months, my current Coin balance is over 8 million Coins. And now, this is when I get market banned.

If I really violated the rules, why now? Why not 10 months ago?

On the very first day of the World Cup event, my ability to properly enjoy the game was taken away.

Would it really have been too much to let me enjoy the game for another two months and look forward to the next release?

    Apparently, EA says no.

And you will never know the reason.

I once appealed for months and only received cold, automated replies.

No clear explanation. No specific transaction identified. No ban removal.

Even if you decide to start over and trade again in the next game, you still won’t know how to avoid being banned again.

Maybe leaving is the only real way to avoid it.

This company has disappointed a loyal player once again.

Thank you for your response, but I think you are missing the main point.

I have already followed countless steps and submitted multiple appeals, yet every single time I receive what appears to be the same automated and generic response. Whether these replies are technically written by a human or not makes little difference from a player’s perspective when no specific explanation is ever provided.

What disappoints me most is not the ban itself, but what this process says about how players are treated. If I had genuinely broken the rules, I would accept the punishment. I am not asking for special treatment. However, being told to repeatedly follow the same process without receiving any meaningful explanation is not my responsibility as a customer.

I have spent both time and money on this game. I supported it financially, invested effort into building my club, and participated in events and progression systems. Yet when a serious issue affects my account, I am left going in circles with no transparency and no real communication.

The result is simple: in a matter of seconds, years of player effort and trust can be erased, while there is no visible human accountability on the other side. Ironically, the money players spend goes to real people, but when support is needed, players are faced with templates instead of genuine interaction.

I am not writing this because I expect a solution anymore. I am writing this because I want to express how broken this system feels from a player’s perspective. This experience has shown me how little value my time, effort, and financial support appear to have once a problem occurs.

At this point, I am no longer asking for anything. I simply will not spend money on this game again, and I will not be purchasing future FC titles. The ban is only part of the issue. The way players are treated throughout this process is the real reason I have lost confidence in EA.

    Hey Commodore0808,

Thank you for taking the time to describe the situation. It's definitely frustrating to be progressing less effectively due to a ban you disagree with. This might not be the response you were hoping for, but I'm afraid we don't have the tools to change or discuss anything here on the forums, so you'll need to continue creating an appeal as you have.

If you followed these steps to create an appeal, our Terms of Service team will be able to take another look. This review has always been conducted by a human advisor, not an automated system, though the responses are usually templated. Unfortunately, we aren't able to share the exact behaviour that was found to be a violation of our rules as a preventative measure, so that the information isn't misused. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with how to play FC by the rules to narrow down the potential triggers and proceed from there.

Please note that if the team finds evidence that supports the ban, you may receive an appeal-declined message. In that case, feel free to directly include any evidence you can find and appeal again. You should be able to appeal as long as the team doesn't reply saying they consider their decision final. Thanks!
