facing the same problem. Found a way to "activate" the live chat function. Just key in 'EA account' as the description, then submit. Anyway, I managed to do a live chat, but they were not helpful.
All I got was,
"I have documented your feedback or bug in my case notes for review. While I cannot provide an estimated timeframe for when this will be addressed, I assure you that it will be reviewed."
