Wow what a season Chupete is having he really has fired Malaga to the title with seven games left it is when not if. What is the record for points in the Segunda division is that in sight for Malaga a real historic season if Chupete could break the record and then the team get the record for most points saying that what about the defence there are so many records surely in reach for this team they are going to get what they deserve and it will be an interesting summer for them.

Good point with the lack of possession being a good excercise ahead of promotion to the top tier. I may end up in many games, where the same will be the case.

The team alway seem to find a way to win they don't require alot of the ball seems there really good on the counter and that could actually help when promoted as you won't be expected to dominate games. Chupete I think you can keep him for one year in LaLiga as if he proves himself there he will be more likely to get a really top move but I'm sure some teams are already starting to circle. The second half of the season the team hasn't done a lot wrong and they deserve to be top promotion seems guaranteed now they need to clinch the title that all there hard work has put them in a position to win.

I get what you mean in regards to pace. I did start the save quite some time before I started writing about it though. Hence why the first season also wasn't that in-depth storywise. But I also play short games, only 4 or 5 minute halves, so it's not uncommon for me to play a sequence of 4 or 5 games, whenever I have some spare time in evenings and whatnot. Writing the story may be the most time-consuming part of it, but it helps to make monthly writeups (or sequences of 3 or 4 games) in stead of going in-depth with every separate game.
For me, the CM experience peaks in seasons 3-6, where one has made some gradual changes and has also started to bring some youth into the squad. I also used to keep track of European results etc., as I know you're also invested in. But I haven't paid that too much mind this time. Finding my "peak" a number of seasons in, it does do me well to avoid a promotion in the first season, making the road to the top a bit too short for my liking. (i did try to win the playoff final last season though)

Indeed. There was a small slump for Chupete at some point, but overall it's been an incredible season for him. I think it's quite rare for me to have one player outshining the rest of the squad like this. I agree that promotion should be a given now. Time will tell if this Chupete fellow will still be a Málaga player, once we fire up La Liga.

The speed of progress by which you go through your CM: impressive. I just don't have the time. I'm starting mine now, but given my pace question is if end of season 1 happens before christmas.
It seems that on the last game (Samp, Viborg) and this one (Malaga), you always need a season before finding your flow. That's good for the longevity.

Top at last the team are in incredible form other then the Barca loss which was expected to be honest. The way Chupete is playing and the gap from third the team look guaranteed promotion if they can keep this form going.
