[CM Story] MáLaLiga - 2027 and onwards

I'm actually struggling to enjoy CM without a story going with it. Just some kind of attention to progress, perhaps some club records to chase etc. Can't find the same enjoyment without the story, I'm afraid. Doing a quick update for every 3 or 4 games works fine for me at the moment. 10 seasons with Spurs sounds like a long one. I usually hit the wall somewhere between season 7 and 9 and call it a day.

Ironically after a drop off I played 25 right til the end, I think backing away from in depth stories got me enjoying them again, I enjoyed writing CMS but with my lack of free time I was holding up the game til I could update thread etc. Maybe if/when my job calms down again I may get back to it, but been really enjoying CM again.  Did a 10 season stint with Spurs after a live start from end of Jan transfer window up til the release of FC 26 and now one with Blackpool which has been bat **bleep** crazy and really wish I had time for a CMS.

Anyways,  happy to see other stories going on much easier catching up on a read

Thanks, and good to see you back. I've been absent as well, didn't really touch FC25 for the last 6 months or so. Not very typical of me, as you're probably aware.

But not as un-typical as me signing Kylian Mbappé, I'll give you that. Nah, it was fun to bring the brother in and perhaps let a little brotherly rivalry be a story in the story. So far it's been a win for each in my head to heads with Real Madrid, but apart from that I can't really say he's been fit to lace his brother's boots so far. Kind of disappointing actually. Perhaps he'll improve, or else he'll just be a good business case, signing him for about half his market value at the time...

Been casually reading over last few days initially thought had bit of a drop off from strong start then see how close it is and seems you've already had most of the teams above you so a good strong finish is in the making.  Think I almost crashed out like your website with The Mbappe headline 🤣 thought maybe you were trying a new approach of go big or go home 🤣

Exactly. Crazy run with 5 top 5 opponents in a row. Should be easier from now on, and 5th place is certainly up for grabs.

Wow with that run of results I'd be sure you'd have moved up in the league still through to a final and them 3 games to take 6 points is outstanding and shows on their day the team can beat anyone. Camacho continuing to shine for you and Chupete seemingly starting to find his feet again in this league when there were question marks about his role in the team. 9 games left top four is gone but the team should be aiming for a top 5 finish especially after Bilbao the rest of the run in will be easier then the last 5
