It isn't wrong to call it a hangover. Even though I only had to rest a couple, the team just weren't 'there'. So a night to forget and move on from.

Unbeaten run came to an end against Real Madrid which maybe was expected but to then make it two losses in three games with a win in between will be disappointing. The team have a game in hand which is crucial they win as they don't want to fall behind in the hunt for the top four. Hopefully another unbeaten run can start soon and the team can push up the table and show what the team is capable of theres no reason they can't make top four but the European hangover might be the reason for the second loss

Thanks, yeah it's definitely not the worst start possible. And the club got through the window okay, despite the gaffer running around at the Euros. I did step down from the Sweden job after the Euros, but have now been offered to coach Morocco, one of the three hosts at the 2030 World Cup. I did hope to get the opportunity to coach Spain, but maybe I'll go with Morocco in stead. Anyway, having only just started the 2028/29 season, the world cup is still some way down the road...

Chupete off to a flyer and the team unbeaten after four with two draws starting the season but two big wins. It will be interesting to see how the team copes once European nights arrive but a solid start after Gabi's hiatus during the summer they have shown that they were still working the same and now look like they might push for top four this year
