What a result against Real Madrid after a little winless run. disappointing to lose so late to Deportivo Alaves but the team are in a strong position the aim was to stay up and the team are flying I can't see them being dragged into that relegation battle now after this start and the victory over Madrid

Thanks, yes there is a top 4 that seems quite settled for now, and I think I find myself fighting for 5th alongside a few other clubs. That's certainly not a bad way to start off in the top tier. Adding a bit of distance to the relegation zone may warrant my next signings to be a bit more expensive, taking a few more risks going forward. We'll see how it plays out after December.

Haha, yes I loved the contrast there. Losing to another promoted side, being exceptionally awful in that game, only to fight back with a win against Los Blancos next. The win wouldn't have meant or felt the same, if I'd just gone from win to win in the games leading up to it. And I suppose I chose the right game to introduce this academy graduate, whom I've wanted to promote for quite some time.

Unbeatable against the top twos with two draws and a win against the Elite of Laliga. Sitting in the top six the team must be delighted with their start over achieving for sure that rock solid defence playing a crucial role the aim was avoid relegation now anything below a top ten would probably be a disappointment for the team. 8 Goals for Chupete isn't a terrible return for his first season in Laliga at this stage I'm sure more goals will come as he settles to the pace of it

Indeed. A decent run so far for Chupete despite not keeping his +1 goal per game rate from last season (didn't expect him to). However, as you'll see in my next update, perhaps the team has relied too heavily on Chupete, making it a bit too predictable at time, often playing better without him in a more fluid and dynamic attack. Perhaps I have some hard choices ahead.

Disappointing result against Bilbao but they are a great team and it is a big ask to go there and get something. The team bounced back well with back to back wins but a disappointing draw against Girona. Interesting that you say the team apears better without Chupete maybe Ethan Mbappe can get more out of him a great loan signing with a lot of potential does his brother fancy playing 6 months with him :P

Well, having won against Real Madrid in my first head to head against them, I'm certainly looking forward to playing them again. Adding the brother angle to an already exciting fixture. They are also still in the cup, so perhaps a third game vs Los Blancos can happen as well...
