Daniel Marzec at it again in this Career Mode Story with AFC Ajax from Amsterdam. The 'Manager Story Man' takes over the reigns from Francesco Farioli who, despite losing the title (giving aw...
Daniel Marzec was happy to finally add a win against NAC Breda, after away losses against first Olympiacos, then after a visit at PSV. In no uncertain terms, the Ajax-head coach made clear that more is required from his team.
'We let it slip in the European fixtures, we let it slip against PSV. But today against a, respectfully, more modest opponent like NAC we show that we can play well organized, attacking football. But if we want to have silverware or at least a Champions League-ticket in our hands by the end of the season, we need to do more than win the smaller confrontations during the season. We need to show it in the bigger games too!'
Against NAC Breda, Marzec opted for Remko Pasveer (41) on goal. 'Together with Davy Klaassen (32), they are the most experienced players. I wanted to see if their experience and calm would transfer over to the other boys. I wasn't dissappointed, it's just that we need to become sharper in front of goal. It could've saved a point against Olympiacos, it could have been a possible win against PSV and it could've been marvelous for our goal difference today. That might become a factor later on, you never know.'
