A frustrating experience

I originally planned to post an appeal on the forum for help, but now I’ve decided against it. I just want to share my experience.

I’m a long-time player who has been on Xbox since FIFA 18 all the way up to FC 26 — that’s 9 generations of the game. I’ve invested both my time and money into every installment, and I’ve always made purchases through official channels. Yes, the game often has bugs and unstable online connections, but I’ve always supported and loved it, watching each new release improve and noting its shortcomings.

However, my recent experience has forced me to consider giving up on the game I’ve loved for 9 generations.

On November 1, 2025, my Xbox account was hacked, and all the coins I had worked so hard to earn were stolen. I didn’t give up playing, but in the middle of a match, my account was suddenly banned. If I were really involved in buying or selling coins illegally, why would I have a long history of official purchases? And why would I have played 9 generations without ever being banned before? The truth is, I am a legitimate player who only uses official payment methods.

I appealed three times, uploading proof of purchases from this generation and screenshots of the unauthorized login, but my account was still not unbanned. Heartbroken as I was, I still didn’t give up on the game. I bought it again on PC, created a new account, made some official purchases, and started from scratch.

But incredibly, after playing for just 6 days — before I even unlocked the transfer market — my new account was banned for no reason. Again, I appealed three times. This time, it was even worse: after receiving the last email from EA Help on November 18, 2025, telling me to wait for processing, I never heard back. No updates, no resolution — nothing.

I just want to share my story on the forum so everyone can see it and discuss whether any other players have had the same experience.

  • That's craap you've had to endure all of that. I'd guess that most (if not all) your replies were automated and not seen by an actual person (much like this forum feels) How can they not check your account to see what you do? Surely there must be someone who doesn't have their head up their arse that can help you?  Good luck.

    Yeah, man, you're spot on. The emails are either automated replies or just tell me to keep waiting, with no end in sight. The same goes for customer service—they told me to wait 10 days, which has already passed, or they just ask me to open a new ticket. It's utterly unhelpful, and I'm at my wit's end—I might just have to give up.

  • Many moons ago, I bought an ALL RARE pack
    One of the items was not rare
    I complained and gave them proof
    They told me "sorry you didn't get anything good, but that's how it works"
    I replied "I don't care that I didn't get anything good, I bought an all rare pack and it wasn't ALL RARE"

    And so began six months of going through various employees, all of which began with "sorry you didn't get anything good, but that's how it works" and the cycle repeating.

    And then they just randomly closed the case and claimed it was "solved" which lead to me opening another case complaining about them closing a case because they couldn't be bothered to deal with me anymore

    The response "here are two gold packs and leave us the F alone" LOL
