A frustrating experience
I originally planned to post an appeal on the forum for help, but now I’ve decided against it. I just want to share my experience.
I’m a long-time player who has been on Xbox since FIFA 18 all the way up to FC 26 — that’s 9 generations of the game. I’ve invested both my time and money into every installment, and I’ve always made purchases through official channels. Yes, the game often has bugs and unstable online connections, but I’ve always supported and loved it, watching each new release improve and noting its shortcomings.
However, my recent experience has forced me to consider giving up on the game I’ve loved for 9 generations.
On November 1, 2025, my Xbox account was hacked, and all the coins I had worked so hard to earn were stolen. I didn’t give up playing, but in the middle of a match, my account was suddenly banned. If I were really involved in buying or selling coins illegally, why would I have a long history of official purchases? And why would I have played 9 generations without ever being banned before? The truth is, I am a legitimate player who only uses official payment methods.
I appealed three times, uploading proof of purchases from this generation and screenshots of the unauthorized login, but my account was still not unbanned. Heartbroken as I was, I still didn’t give up on the game. I bought it again on PC, created a new account, made some official purchases, and started from scratch.
But incredibly, after playing for just 6 days — before I even unlocked the transfer market — my new account was banned for no reason. Again, I appealed three times. This time, it was even worse: after receiving the last email from EA Help on November 18, 2025, telling me to wait for processing, I never heard back. No updates, no resolution — nothing.
I just want to share my story on the forum so everyone can see it and discuss whether any other players have had the same experience.
