Authentic online?
I would like to know if “authentic” will be an option for online Seasons? I have been wanting a more realistic gameplay for years and I don’t like to play the CPU.
Yeah right. Are you referring to playing in to the hands of skilled players being the ones who want to spam unrealistic goals and skill moves up the whole pitch? Because you know that isn't realistic football.
There should certainly be error in the passes too. The occasional rebound goal should remain, same for rebound goals off players after shots etc... if you remove all of that you are going against the grain of any realism.
I think most people welcomed FC25 after the gameplay refresh back in December. If you make the gameplay to inch perfect for so called pros then it will become and absolute joke online.
You better hope they haven't beefed up AI defendong to cope with all of this because if they have expect to come up against walls of defence with those who refuse to be skilled all game long. What your wanting might not play out as perfect as you are hoping for. I will be the first to park the bus and play counter against skill spammers and take great pride in doing so. Been there before with that tactic and no shame in doing so again if it comes to it.
BTW - Never claimed FC25 was perfect/realistic either. But the game before the refresh and after was chaulk and cheese. Anyone would know that. We went from tight cagey games to wide open 9-8 scorelines.
I don’t even consider FC 25 a real game — it was the biggest disgrace in EA’s history.
From the moment it was released until now, it has been incredibly awful, and every update made it worse than the one before. It was never good or even playable, from start to finish.
Anyway, I saw you talking about skill moves and players who heavily rely on them, along with your comment about the new rainbow flick in the FC 26 trailer.
I only agree with you on one thing: the new rainbow flick is unrealistic when used to get past players. But it could be realistic if it were turned into a new passing move while standing still — yes, that actually happens in real life.
But overall, this move — and other skill moves in the game — I think the problem is on your end.
Because simply, there’s something called reading your opponent. You can predict what your opponent is going to do, control your defender, pull him back, and reach the ball before the attacker does.
But if your style of play is just charging straight at the opponent without any anticipation or reading the play — and then you get upset when they perform a skill move and beat you — that’s on you.
Even if someone tries to do skills from one end of the pitch to the other, what are you doing during the match? Just watching? Or do you have 11 players you can use to intercept the ball?
That’s why these are just empty excuses.
