The problem is very easy to identify. The only solution to OVERPOWERED passing and shooting is MANUAL CONTROLS.... The problem is 99% of the player based do NOT understand this and the developers of the game keep it in the dark to keep the "casuals" around. The problem for them is all the casuals are leaving too because of the very poor gameplay. 😆
You are also 110% correct about the defending mechanics. The MARKING positioning is BROKEN. Standing tackle is BROKEN. This is exactly why everyone lets the AI do all the defending and just use a CDM the entire time.
Dribbling is overpowered but only because the defending is absolutely useless.
Why are so many people always trying to defend the games broken. The gameplay is a disaster. The amount of turnovers that are automated and the gaps in the defense are so large you could parallel park a bus in them. There are so many automated automations it is mind blowing. I will sprint and try to stop and a knock on will carry over and turnover the ball. It is just such sensitive controls people are exploiting so many animations and creating glitches in the game play. People are using AI defense and advanced defending to exploit bots not even playing against users just passing to glitched bots out of position for no reason. My own team runs into me. I mean how is that possible for professionals. Maybe once a season not once a game.
