Created player in Classic XI, now cannot transfer

Hi there, I spent more than 1 hour modeling a new player's head and now I cannot play with it in Career mode as I created him in Classic XI team 🥲

The problem is now I cannot transfer it to a different club. Has anyone done something like that before? Is there a workaround?
