Cross-play and cheaters — is there a solution in FC 26?

Hi, I wanted to ask how the issue of cheaters will be handled in FC 26.

FC 25 has always been full of cheating PC players, and there's no effective way to report them in-game.

Because of this, cross-play—rather than being a useful feature that helps speed up matchmaking—has become a burden due to the cheaters.

How will this be solved? Or will cross-play be removed entirely because of this issue?

  • Yes, this affects the modes in general. The presence of cheaters definitely impacts the leaderboard, as cheating players end up topping it.
In past years, there was no crossplay, yet the game continued and players were still able to play without any major issues.
Faster matchmaking through crossplay is indeed a nice feature for everyone, but overall, it causes harm because it also brings in cheaters who ruin the game and fair play.

So, I’m not completely against crossplay, but I believe there should be a clear system in place to detect cheaters, and a strict and visible option for players to report them.
If such a system doesn’t exist, then in that case, I think removing crossplay would actually be the better option.

  • There not going back to console only playing. The disadvantages to playing PC is not just the cheating it's performance. Game is broken on a competitive level. Shame though seems like anything involving a leaderboard, people just constantly cheat.

  • There are times when you need crossplay like certain modes or doing off peak hours. Removing crossplay isn’t going to solve cheating but will hurt people who want to play the game.  It’s also a bad look saying cheaters win and we don’t care about pc or lesser played modes or off hours. I could still see ea doing it though.

I understand the problems that can arise from removing crossplay, but if they were to seriously remove it they would kill proclub again.

Even if you disable it, it's not really a solution. Because sometimes the game has issues when you turn off cross-play — it won’t let you enter matches, it gets stuck in the lobby, and you get errors no matter how many times you search. Then when you turn cross-play back on, the game responds and lets you join matches again.

Also, when you're playing Clubs in League mode competitively, there are people playing from other platforms.

If you’ve disabled cross-play, you won’t be able to join — so things like this make the experience worse.

So either they should remove cross-play completely from the game, or at least add a clear option to report players.
