Do not purchase for Switch 2 (No transfer market for new EA accounts)

NO RESOLUTION FOR FORESEEABLE FUTURE (As of October 2025)

Requires a series of tasks to unlock (reasonable to prevent bots). However tasks are not possible (3 Rivals Matches Online) to complete on Switch 2 w/ no resolve in site (confirmed via support and the forums).

Unfortunately the game plays well on Switch 2! But to purchase for early access and rewards and have a permanent lock on the transfer market with no alternative recourse to resolve is dishonest and bad business for EA. There should be at least 1 alternative method to confirm you are indeed not setting a nefarious account. Without it...they are trying to force users to simply "buy packs" vs earn funds via selling players, etc. 

DO NOT PURCHASE FC26 FOR SWITCH 2 unless you can check to see if this issue is resolved!

If you already have an EA account, you should be fine and able to access the transfer market beyond the need to unlock the feature. If you are starting a separate account for kids or console...do not purchase until this flaw is resolved or the ethics behind it have changed.
