Yeah the R1 dribbling didn’t need nerfing as much but the game was in such a state, you could score 10 goals a game quite easily against good players.
now we have the “ content creators “ crying like little babies that they haven’t got their own way, See Nick for example.
I personally think the patch is decent and I’ve enjoyed having more realistic score lines again
Agreed, I watched about 5 mins of that video and had to stop, it was really embarrassing to see a grown man melt like that.

Played about 14 games last night and it is a vastly better experience now, I'll be posting as such myself and would like to say well done to EA.
The people saying the patch are good are bad at this game its slower so noobs like it it was pacey and fun pre patch and the skill ceiling was very high now the **bleep**ters get there chance to play this slow dog wash
The only thing they slowed is R1 dribbling and rightly so.
Plus casual and average skill gamers make up the huge majority of the playerbase, player retention is key and this will achieve that.
Skill ceiling?? Hahha you call wiggling your left stick skill? No player can twist and turn like that with a ball at their feet. Go find a basketball game mate, might be more suited to your style of enjoyment. The game is far better post patch.
Well I’m division 2 and get 11-12 wins on a weekend league and I think the patch is very good so there goes that theory 👍
Nick’s review epitomises the ‘thoughts’ of the majority of all these wannabe pros following each other like a herd of brainless wildebeest walking across the Serengeti. They honestly don’t really know what they are whining about, they are just whining because idiots like Nick are whining. The patch has improved the gameplay.
It is not actually slow… what planet are you on? If you know how to play football, you really should not have an issue with the patch.

i dont agree with nick anyways, but i believe that they have shouldn't touched r1 dribbling tbh for me and thats personal preference, i really used it alot when im against players that are good at defending because sometimes they didnt expected it, the thing i hate that they buffed the manual defending thanks for that but they dont have to nerf R1 dribbling, attacking ai is already not the best, i dont understand whyyyyyy
Totally agree as I didn’t abuse it I don’t notice on attack but that and jockey makes sure I’m not getting those goals which were all the same and you did not have a chance to defend. Still early days but so far like this patch a lot. If you do passing play normal dribbling and buildup feels good, For those who only relied on counters and the inability of defenders to jockey or r1 dribble the whole box against unresponsive defenders I understand they don’t like it.
