FC26 review?

Don't listen to them. Nothing has changed that much. Autopress tactics are still a thing that refuce the skill gap. Passing for me is still awful. Shooting even worse. Dda is still present as ever if you bot frustrated at fc 25 and didn't enjoy the game then this will be the exact same.

I done the live event for manager career which obviously for them you play against cpu. I only got access to ultimate team a couple of days ago so I haven’t majorly played UT yet but I can have a look if I go on the game before beta stops.

With ball shielding the players can still be pushed off the ball but it’s just not as easy as games before where the players just couldn’t shield the ball pretty much at all. I think it may be based a bit on the strength of each player as well so someone like Yamal who is quite small and I’m pretty sure doesn’t really have a good strength stat where as someone like Van Djik would probably be a bit harder to push off of the ball.

With the stumbles it’s not something I majorly noticed but thinking about it I would say they do recover from stumbles slightly quicker but I wouldn’t say that it interferes much with tackles and shot blocking that much (although that is my opinion other people may think differently).

It all definitely makes the game more realistic which is what they were aiming for so they have done a very good job. Hope this helps.

shazzalady13​ could you play any of the new live events modes in the beta, and if so, can you play vs cpu or does it require multiplayer? 

Also is there a limit or counter to ball shielding, so that it is not abused, or will this just be the year of the giants? 

I saw in one of the trailers that in competitive mode players will recover from stumbles and the like faster, did you notice that? Is it well implemented, or does it interfere with fair outcomes in tackling and shot blocking situations?

Vs cpu if you are in higher div then better bots.

Are there any significant changes to set piece tactics, and can you change the width of your team defensively?

I personally think it’s a much better game than previous years. I can’t remember fifa 14 so I really couldn’t tell you if the tactics are better or worse, there a a few other types of player roles which I think make the tactics part of the game a little better but there aren’t massive changes to tactics. The gameplay presets (authentic and competitive) are really good in my opinion and the physicality of players is MUCH better than previous games you don’t just get shoved off the ball when you try a shield it anymore.

Yeah. There is no major improvement, and that is very evident for everyone to see, I thought EA was going to do better after the sham FC25 was, with its broken gameplay and all, but apparently, they didn't. Every day I regret the money I spent on FC25. All I can say is if you didn't buy FC25, then you may as well skip FC26. 

I think this company needs a serious competition, maybe if there was, they would stop making empty promises and actually make improvements.

w-e-s-t-s-i-d-e8​ it was to be expected. This game is so FUBAR, it will take years to fix everything. And the people in charge of the FC game are clearly not competent to do a good job. A perfect example on how incompetence and mismanagement can ruin a good product

Hello, I need someone here to help me since I can't get an answer anywhere else. 

Are any of the live events in ultimate team able to played vs cpu, or do they strictly require multiplayer? 

This is make or break for me, so can someone please let me know?

The answers I've seen are conflicting, and I can't trust them, so I am here to ask real people who actually know.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this just isn’t the year and honestly, I’m not sure when the right year will come. We need stronger, more legitimate competition to really challenge EAFC.
