Guantlet mode matchmaking

Question

Gauntlet mode and other live events are way more sweaty than champs. I'm curious to know how matchmaking works because in champs you get supposedly matched against someone with a similar form. But gauntlet is on another level of hell stressed difficulty that it feels not worth the torture since you aren't being matched against people with a similar win/loss ratio. I already played 10 mathces and won only 2 out of them. While in champs I average between 6 to 8 wins out of 15.&nbsp;

I don't think any casual even bothers it's just the hardcore sweats that play it, you get matched against nobody of your level it's obvious a fiv 6 , 7 or 8 player shouldn't be matched with div 1 and elite super sweats every game , it's pointless it's impossible to compete , I just do the play games obj and thats it , it's a total waste of time&nbsp;

If you get 6 to 8 wins in champs and win 2 out of 10 what chance does an average player have , almost zero, pointless even wasting your time

Tried playing it today , it's unbearable, just get smashed every single game ,its a total waste of time unless your in div 3 or above because you don't get matched with anyone your level, if you've lost 3 gauntlets in a row losing every game surely you should be matched with someone equally as trash not another elite player, pointless trying and therefore a pointless game mode

It's clearly busted , if your not at least div 3 don't even bother trying to win, it's pointless&nbsp;
