Horrific matchmaking

I read something this morning (I forget where) that said matchmaking was poor because less people are playing the game now. That sort of makes sense, not that anyone should be surprised. I'm up and down between Div 9 and 8 (I'm old!)  Most of my opponents literally blow me away and I can't get near them. Spinning, flicking, skills and stuff.

The downfall of of this game should be studied in universities 

Agreed mate, same i do not do one skill, even r1 drippling. i just got to 6 again, after the pathetic relegation every season, what is that by the way? Im aged 55 and i get destroyed, i got lucky with some untradables, ginola, de jong when expensive, and others BUT in my hands they are like bronze players, the through balls are boring, when i do it...blocked, they do it, cant defend it. I start game, i have 20 yard/metre gaps between players but they are like walls all over the pitch. keepers, omg you may as well play with a player in the net. i must have 50 keepers, jesus. I change tactics, formations....awful. i change cameras...awful. 

Same mate, I could have 99 rated Mbappe and I still wouldn't f-n score!  I'm Admin on a FB group of "Mature" lads who play this game, quite a few are Div 1 and Elite players but even they are struggling this year. I don't do skilles either, if my opponent wants to dance around spinning and stuff, i just sit there and let them. Sometimes though, if i'm being a grumpy old man (70 next birthday), i'll kick them up in the air....because that's about all I can do to a good standard!

70, that is class mate, love that...yea same, i hate having to stay in the game when im getting pumped as well for an objective, kills me. luckily i turned off watching them celebrate so do not need to see someone 10 nil up being toxic....really wtf. yep i kick them all over, the game is fixed as well, 4 up and then you start to run in mud or your keeper drops one...pickford 3 x in one game, cornerstone. whats your fb page, ill join.

Gauntlet was like that for me, I only had to score a goal then I was done, but had to wait out the whole game. It can be fun though when you don't give a sht. GLad it's nit just me that will take a red card for fun! haha. Yeah sure it's called "EA Sports FC for Mature Gamers" let me know if you can't find it. It's good laugh mostly, good banter, really helpful if you are struggling.....

Because all the casuals have abandoned and it's only the wannabe pro super sweats left and they just lurk around in the lower divisions for easy games and tell themselves they're great players and because rewards are terrible anyway there's no incentive to promote
