Support Process Question: EA Help vs EA Forums

Dear EA Sports,

I was advised by the EA Sports Support team (EA Help) to raise my concerns and issues with the game on the EA Forums, and I was assured that developers and relevant teams are active here.

However, despite creating multiple posts outlining my concerns, none of them have been acknowledged by EA staff. I have worked in a corporate environment for over 25 years, and I must say that this level of communication falls well below the standard one would normally expect from a customer support structure.

What I find particularly confusing is the process itself. EA Help, which is meant to support customers, redirects players to these forums to raise issues. Yet once customers follow that direction, it appears that no meaningful engagement takes place. From a customer perspective, this creates a situation where players are effectively moved from one support channel to another without their concerns actually being addressed.

The only time I received a response was when a post included a three-letter word that apparently violated forum rules. That post received attention immediately, yet the actual concern raised in the post was not addressed in the response. This sends a rather unfortunate message that moderation is active, but meaningful engagement with the issues themselves is not.

As a long-standing customer, this is disappointing. I have been playing EA football titles since the very first FIFA, well before the PlayStation era, and I have remained a loyal player for decades. Because of that, I find it difficult to understand why concerns raised by players here receive so little acknowledgement.

I fully understand that companies must be careful when responding publicly. However, complete silence is also a response, and it is not a particularly reassuring one.

If EA Help directs players to the forums, then the forums should function as a place where issues are at least acknowledged or discussed. Otherwise, the process risks appearing circular — players are redirected to the forums for help, but once they arrive, no help is provided.

I would respectfully ask that this process be reconsidered, and that concerns raised here receive at least some level of acknowledgement from the relevant teams.

I have earned badges and profile levels on this forum over time, but those are secondary. What matters far more is meaningful communication with the player community.

Could EA staff please clarify whether posts raising gameplay concerns are reviewed and whether players can expect responses here?

For clarity, could a member of the EA community team or moderation team please confirm whether gameplay concerns raised on this forum are reviewed by the development team, and whether players should realistically expect feedback or acknowledgement when such concerns are raised here? Understanding how this process works would be very helpful for players who have been directed here by EA Help.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

  • You might as well go talk to a wall for all the good posting here does.

The "advisors" are useless and virtually never post (and if they do its normally condescending bull like "watch the pros and then you won't suck")

EA do not care unless you are one of their shills on twitter who post misinformation to get people to buy packs

    Hey SpartanLogan23,

Thanks for taking the time to share this. I’m sorry the move from EA Help to the EA Forums has felt like a dead end.

EA Help handles direct support cases. The EA Forums are where issues and feedback are collected and tracked.

The EA Staff here reads the boards every day and reports trends, feedback, suggestions, and recurring issues to the relevant teams. We do not always reply to every post, even when it has been seen and shared internally.

If EA Help can’t resolve something directly and asks you to post on the EA Forums, that is usually because your report can help highlight a broader issue. Even when there is no public reply, your posts still matter, and your feedback is heard.

We appreciate your and other players' participation on the boards and hope to keep seeing you around!

    Hey sniperfox29

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. I have to say I understand exactly where you’re coming from, and in many ways I share the same perspective. It can definitely feel frustrating when posts seem to go unanswered, so I appreciate you speaking honestly about your experience.

I think many players probably feel something similar at times. When people care about the game and take the time to raise concerns or share feedback, it’s only natural to hope that someone on the other side is listening. That said, I still believe it’s worth continuing the conversation and raising issues in a constructive way.

Even in a large corporate environment, communities can still have a voice. If players stop sharing their experiences altogether, then those perspectives might never reach the people who can influence improvements.

I also appreciate the clarification from the EA team about how feedback shared here is reviewed and passed on internally. Understanding the process does help, even if we don’t always see immediate replies.

Thanks again for contributing to the discussion. Conversations like this are important, and hopefully by continuing to speak openly and respectfully we can help keep the dialogue going for the wider community.

If other players have had similar experiences or perspectives, it would be interesting to hear their thoughts as well. Open discussions like this can only help highlight what the community is seeing.

    Hey EA_Claus,

Continuing in the same constructive spirit, I would like to share my recent experience. I have just played four matches against significantly weaker opponents with a stable 8 ms ping connection. Despite this, my players struggled to pass the ball, tackling was ineffective, and the overall gameplay felt very slow and unresponsive.

At the same time, my opponents appeared noticeably faster and more responsive, even though the player stats and playstyles would suggest otherwise. My players seemed to be operating at roughly 80% of the pace of my opponents. How is it possible for a player with 70 pace to be faster than a player with 91 pace and Quick Step+?

Does this mean something may not be functioning as intended? I genuinely would like to understand. After reading more than 100 posts on these forums, I have yet to come across one praising the gameplay. What I do see, however, are many posts describing very similar experiences and issues — often structured in the same way and pointing to the same types of problems I have described above.

Could someone please help clarify what might be causing this?

At the moment the gameplay feels almost unplayable from my side. I would therefore like to ask what the next step is in terms of support. How can this issue be investigated, addressed, and hopefully resolved?

    Kind regards,

    Logan

i really tried several times over the last 4 years to tell what the problems are in that game, but either i got ignored or told things that are no help in any way.

The only things i got told here by the support team is either putting the blame on me or my connection, despite no other game has problems at that directions, and i also got told that only customers help here and not their team.

what i am asking myself now, why do they have a forums-team here? only to ban ppl that talk the truth about their broken promises and game?

i mean what exactly do you think @ea employees will happened when you put out a product that costs a fortune at start but breaks every promise and is a beta version at  best, and also gets worse with every patch?

I understand where you’re coming from. I’ve also spent years giving feedback on these forums, so I know what it feels like to keep raising the same concerns and hoping they will eventually be addressed.

A lot of the frustration comes from the feeling that progress in fixing gameplay has been very limited. Ideally, the game should work properly from the start rather than relying on patch after patch to correct fundamental issues. At times it feels like we now have patches covering other patches, and the experience is no longer what it was at release.

For many players the expectation is simple: player ratings, stats, playstyles, chemistry, and physical attributes should behave consistently, as they are designed to. When they don’t, it raises fair questions about what purpose those systems actually serve.

Sometimes I honestly feel like we’re in a strange version of Fight Club — not the cool part, but more like the support group meetings where everyone gathers to talk about their problems and frustrations with the game. I’d much rather be in the “fight” part of it — meaning simply playing the game!

At the end of the day, players want to spend their time playing the game they enjoy, not troubleshooting it or spending hours on forums explaining issues.

    Kind regards,

    Tyler D.
