launching error

So, ive been playing fc26 offline for a while (my wifi is horrendous so basically no online), and i came back from a 3 day vacation, for eafc26 to make a memory dump, attachment is what i mean.

Believe it could be because the installer doesnt place the .sys anticheat file in my drivers folder in system 32, but thats just what ai tells me.

    Hey MEGATRONMEGAMIND

From what you described, it sounds like a launch/crash issue, possibly tied to EA AntiCheat but I can’t confirm the exact cause from here. Before jumping to conclusions about missing .sys files, can you let me know if you’ve already tried any troubleshooting steps?

If not, a good place to start would be:

    • Repair EA AntiCheat
      • Go to your game install folder
      • Open the EA AntiCheat installer (usually named something like EAAntiCheatInstaller.exe)
      • Select FC 26 and choose Repair
    • Run the game as Administrator
      • Right-click the game executable (or EA App)
      • Select Run as administrator

These two steps can sometimes fix issues where AntiCheat isn’t initializing properly.

If you’ve already tried those, let me know what happened after each step and we can narrow it down further

    Hello EA_Kuba,

Regarding the repairing, I have attempted to do so with the file (EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe), multiple times, yet it yields the same result even when saying success.

For the EA app, running as administrator and booting doesn't do much better as it continues to crash.

Gotcha, thanks for your reply MEGATRONMEGAMIND

Are you using any mods in the game by any chance?

Have a look in the game directory and check if you have a file named Cryptbase.dll. If there is such a file, please delete it, as this is an intended workaround in such cases (source).

So, I did just that, because i once used mods before, and it failed but no crash report, its as if the game just stopped trying to load. Then i repaired anticheat, and it opened the splash screen and updated/installed something, then closed, and now when i try to open the game itn giva a run time error, example below.
