No ankle tape in player career

In player career you cannot select to have ankle tape. You can try and go to “edit players” but it will last for 1 game and reset. It has been like this for the past 2 years and I don’t understand why. It was fine before that. 
it isn’t a huge issue but it shouldn’t be happening. I also don’t particularly understand why there Arnt ankle socks like every player in football wears but it just seems odd that the tape no longer works either
