I paid £90 for FC26 for my son last year when it came out. He hardly played it due to overheating. He’s now wanting to play it again he’s deleted a lot of stuff off his PS5 but it’s still overheating. I’ve already had to buy him a new PS5 due to overheating heating from FC25. How can this be resolved?
Community ManagerHey there. Thanks for reaching out. Overheating normally is normally caused by a couple of things. The console is in a location where it doesn't get good airflow and the vents could be clogged with dust and debris. So, make sure the console is not tucked away in a semi-enclosed space. Also, check the vents to see if they're clean. If both of these are true, I recommend getting the console professionally cleaned. If you feel comfortable opening it up and doing this yourself, that's always an option. There are a lot of instructional videos online with instructions for opening and cleaning out consoles. You may want to check those out.
