Rivals Glitch or Cheat?

Just had two games, one which was an absolute stand out from being 3-1 up to losing 4-3. Player long pause, immediately my team goes absolute slow, passes are under hit, shots are weak and wide, players just stop finding spaces, runs just stop being made.

What I have I have noticed, everytime this guys scores the game suddenly picks up speed and then drops in tansition...and just to make things more suspect, my team in transition gets to the halfway line and ball lands up behind my own goal line, ref blows for offside...WTF! 

And this coming up against a guys playing on PS5, is it a in game glitch or cheat?
