Last year we started the same, after some months (after the TOTY event i guess), everything was fine. I don't know if the problem is the rewards, or the the people who want to get paid for some services or even fulfill their ego on the lower divisions. As i said the only thing to stop this is to remove relegations and keep them on the highest divisions plus to upgrade even more the rewards on rivals WL etc, i know it's not cool for everybody but if they want the casuals to come back and maybe play their game, those are the two best options right now.
So, are you saying that by blocking relegations, the matchmaking system would become fairer?
I wouldn't be so sure...
I'm more inclined to think that this year the system is completely random, but I don't know why. Perhaps there were problems during development, or perhaps a patch inadvertently compromised the system.
The fact remains that because of this, many people are abandoning UT because it's impossible and frustrating to play under these conditions.
I agree that this might be a development problem, on the other hand this isn't fair for people who just want to have fun on their 3-4-5 hours/day to play some rivals. Everyone is sweating to rank up, everyone is playing the same formations, players even managers (lol) plus they don't mind people who really loved that game before. So basically yes blocking relegations until the semi high - high divisions might be a good decision. Also upgrading the rewards on the same divisions will make everyone to play on their division and their skill gap too.
When I play RIVALS, I'm always in a sweat, bro... :-D
Anyway, if the best way to find a better balance between players in the DR is to reintroduce the relegation ban in ALL divisions, you have my full support!
