Begrudgingly, the new EA FC 26 trailer appears on the surface to be far greater than the one released for EA FC 24 and 25. Will be awaiting the in-depth Manager and Player Career mode videos and feature overview notes that should be available in approximately two or three weeks. From the initial video a few days ago, the only real changes I saw were AI managers being sacked for poor seasonal performance, minor changes to youth academy, more job offers for user managers, and probably useless manager challenges that no one asked for. Personally, a number of changes that are required for me are the options for removing pitch wear in game settings (mentioned somewhere, however, unsure if speculation), addition of full match introduction and player lineups for Player Career mode, ability to disable player messages in Manager Career mode (constant whining about playing time, and other repetitive nonsense that has not changed in ten years), custom editing of formations with the ability to manually position players, significant reduction in players submitting transfer requests for no reason (current career mode save in the first season have five players submitting transfer requests, before even reaching November 1st), removal of the irritating POV camera cutscenes, having the majority of third and fourth kit options available at early launch not in October through February (Saint Pauli in the Bundesliga already has their fourth kit option publically released and available to add to EA FC 26 through licensing), new generic and real stadiums with more options to edit current ones, and complete overhaul of Create-A-Club. This list is endless for the content and feature additions required to upgrade both career modes, time will tell if anyone at EA Sports cares about a significant portion of the community or not.
