Update player hairstyles and faces!
Bruh, I don’t know about you lot, but this is driving me crazy.
I’ve been on this since FIFA 23 → EAFC 24 → EAFC 25, and now we’re looking at EAFC 26 and some players STILL have the exact same faces and hairstyles from years ago.
Like I play with Chelsea, and half the squad looks like they’re frozen in time. Guys who changed their look seasons ago are still rocking the same outdated trim. And it’s not just Chelsea—this is across so many clubs.
How are we supposed to get hyped about “authentic football” when the players on screen don’t even match what we see week in, week out on TV? It kills the immersion. You wanna feel like you’re controlling today’s stars, but instead you’re staring at a copy-paste from years back.
EA puts so much into promos, packs, and Ultimate Team gimmicks, but can’t even get player faces and hairstyles updated properly. It honestly makes me not wanna play sometimes.
Like, if Konami/PES could pull off frequent face scans back in the day, how is it that in 2026 we’re still stuck with outdated haircuts and generic faces? EA needs to fix this.
What do you guys think—does this ruin the experience for you too, or am I just being picky?
