Why did ea develop dda and take a patent to that technology?

 They spent a lot of money to develop this patent.. Why? And why doesn't ea want to answer questions - beside their standard answers to these reasonable questions? The forum managers give you a warning or suspend you for asking about this things. Why..? 

Ea have develop this technology.. Shouldn't they be prepard to answer on this without banning you for asking?

Maybe they have been given answers, but I haven't seen this.  - and they should be able to answer this over and over again as long as new customers are buying and playing the game, and wondering about these things..
