unbalanced difficulty level

If you ask me it's not a skill level jump the game just cheats more it still plays the same it just nerfes your team ie slows everything down and makes the cpu AI quicker faster so annoying so I hear you im on ps5 👍

I have exact same feeling. It's not AI playing better, it's just cheating, lowering you stats, boosting theirs etc.

It's a massive error of judgment by the developers - who are somewhat complacent figuring that even their rubbish designs will still be purchased. I used to be able to play World Class in FC25, why is it that now I rarely have more than 40% possession, always end losing by one goal, and find that passes go astray and my players have lost the ability to trap the ball? I have tinkered with the CPU sliders. They make a tiny difference. But it's actually the level of AI thinking and execution - beyond the sliders - that's making it nigh impossible to beat.

I have given it a good go - at least hundred odd games - and I am not making progress. This is no longer fun. I don't want to play it. And it may prove to be the way that my addiction to the game is broken - which will please the missus (and save me both time and the $100+ that the game costs each year). Not savvy business decision making. And if those arrogant f**ks aren't monitoring this and fixing their problem then I hope that those c**ts lose loads of business

Having the same issues. I started a career mode on World Class difficulty and after playing a handful games and losing or tying them all (Playing as Everton and most of the games being against middle or bottom of table teams) I decided to lower the difficulty to Professional. Suddenly all my opponents stopped playing defense and I was scoring 3+ goals in the first half every game (I thought it was maybe just a weird glitch the first game or the team I played just wasn't rested or soemthing, so I played a few). That wasn't fun at all. I want a challenge, but I still want to win games. 

I don't know what's going on and it looks like it's not just me that's having the same issue. I'm hoping that they can fix this issue. It's been a few years since I've even thought about buying EA FC. I bought FC23 and it was straight trash. Tried a handful of times to play it and it was straight trash every time. I played FIFA 14,15,16,18 for more hours than I'd like to admit and even though they had their quirks, I never felt like they were terrible, or had game breaking bugs that never got fixed. They for sure never had issues with the difficulty levels being jacked up. 

FC26 gave me hope that this game might actually be good after playing the trial. The gameplay feels great, and I enjoy the Realistic gameplay setting. It's just too bad I can't win on World Class and can't lose if I tried on Professional. Developers, I know career mode and other offline gameplay isn't your money maker, but please figure out this difficulty level issue.

When mastering a new skill level , Theres a few cheats I've noticed that are game killers for me on  ps5 against cpu ai . The positioning off your attacking players or even defending when crossing the game always tucks your player behind the defender / attacker preventing you winning the ball and ai kind of blocks you jumping 90% of time .This one extremely annoying when you have ball or are shielding and the ai touches you or you  are tackled , your player just freezes like you been hit by electric especially annoying when your defending your stunned by ai and can't clear ball . The over run when changing direction you like drift miles away no like quick dart left or right you float off also some times when tackled ai knocks  you miles off the ball . Referees and decisions the ai constantly fouls you to get ball mainly obstruction but is never given you touch the ai however foul given .It really is embarrassing that cheat codes are used to win a game not beaten by intelligence because that's all this game is one big cheat code theres more things but too many I've recorded them too .
