.5 - 1 sec freezes since last update

Game is unplayable now. I've never had this occur in 5+ year of playing. I have RTX 4060, latest graphic drivers, and my system is plenty good (i7-14700HX, 32GB ram) and I have a G-Sync-compatible monitor.

It's been fine all season until the last update. I've tried to clear nvidia cache, and basic troubleshooting. Stuck on what else to try.

  • Hello, try putting your PC offline then uninstall and reinstall EA Javelin anti cheat from here https://help.ea.com/en/articles/platforms/pc-ea-anticheat/ then try to start the game first offline then online and check if it works, if it doesn't work you can try clearing the cache of the EA app, if it still doesn't work you can first make a backup of the EA SPORT 26 folder (located in C:\Users\your user\AppData\Local\EA SPORTS FC 26) then delete the original folder so as to force the game to recreate clean data from the last update.Also try installing the latest version of visual from here:https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170#latest-supported-redistributable-version

     

  • Ok, ty. I will try. I changed a lot of the display settings in FC to lower everything to lowest, and it's not freezing anymore, but the graphics don't look great anymore. 

  • Think you guys have a caching bug w/ this latest build. The freeze returned, cleared things, went away, then eventually came back again.

    I can try and isolate which set of cache is creating the issue, but it's one of your big 3 caching folders. You may want to pass this in to your dev team. 

  • Bump... anyone have any other ideas to try? I wasted this whole season now for something that isn't playable. 

  • How do I open a ticket? They're making it almost impossible to do now.

  • I have the same problem as you. I can't play anymore the game I paid for, even though my pc is compatible with the minimum requirements and all the previous games worked just fine. Can't even open a ticket.  Can't even get a refund. Can't even get an answer. 60€ wasted for nothing

  • I feel you. As a customer of this game for 6 years, and someone who spends good extra money on FC points, it would be nice to at least be able to open a ticket. lol

    It's an obvious bug. My system has no problems w/ literally anything, just this game since the last update. And every time I open it, the freeze gets longer. It's even difficult to play squad battles now. 

    Anyone from EA there?

    I need help. I need to at least be able to open a ticket. The issue is just getting worse and worse.

  • Since EA is absolutely useless, if anyone else is having this issue, I uninstalled the latest updated Nvida game ready driver, and re-installed the previous version, and the problem was resolved.

    EA support staff... guys, you need to at least try and do a little better.
