bugged silvers event EA

I don’t understand how Silver Superstars works. Do I have to win 18 matches in a row or what? When I lose, do I have to start all over again? Nothing makes sense to me. It’s bugged — I played 5 matches, won 4 and lost 1, but it only counted 3 wins and 3 matches played.
