Can’t play Rivals

I’ve been trying for hours now to play a rivals match. Anytime I try and team build to play it tells me that it can’t connect to unltimate team it will then build my team and then when I try to advance to play tells me it can’t create my game session. I’ve tried to build a different squad and it kicks me from ultimate team. I can play rush just fine the only thing that I can’t play is Rivals. I have no idea what to do at this point. I have deleted  it and reinstalled it twice. I have hard reset my console, reset my router, and even just a simple try and reconnect and nothing has worked. I started having this problem at around 8 p.m yesterday and it’s now 5:01 am and I still have no access to the game mode. The next option it to refund the game bc I just bought it bc how do you expect me to want to play a game that won’t even let me play a basic match online? I’ve even tried the companion app and nothing can anyone please help me out? EA_Aljo​
