Cannot Connect to Ultimate Team

Whenever I try to go into Ultimate Team in EA FC  26 on PS5 I get a message saying:

“Connecting to Ultimate Team is not possible at the moment. You will now be returned to the main menu.”

I’d be grateful if anyone could suggest some ways of fixing this.

I’ve tried restarting the PS5 and our router, clearing caches, rebuilding database, changing DNS and deleting UT squads. I’ve also tried downloading the EA FC web app but it says I  “signed into another device”.

I’ve got an active PS Plus subscription.

    Hi there. Try using the web/companion app to delete your squads. Not the players, just the squads. Then, create an empty squad and try to load into UT again on your PS5. Let me know what happens. Thanks!

    Hi EA_Aljo​ 

    Yesterday, during Gauntlet and today, 13 May 2026, I have the exact same problem of sigma9680​ and Gl0ckbusta​. 

    "This same message has also been popping up after every Gauntlet game that I played, not allowing me to get credit for the games. This issue has been occurring since the release of this most recent Gauntlet. Today only has the issue expanded to me not being able to connect to UT. "

    There is no way I can use the web/companion app to delete my squads because it appears I'm SIGNED IN INTO ANOTHER DEVICE (which is the PS5)

    How can we solve this issue?

    Hey guys any idea why FC ultimate teams always crashing im smashing squad battles and then it crashes and I take a loss on SBS then when in rivals it does the exact same and I take the loss and get a disconnecting warning ⚠️ am so sick if this and what a waste of money EA may sort this out or fc27 won't be a future but for me absolutely disgraceful charging an arm and leg for a game and then it bugs out and crashes constantly. EA GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER
