Cannot get into servers via PS5

Hi all,

I am unable to connect to the servers via the PS5 to play ultimate team. It was working fine on Saturday and then on Sunday it just didn't work. I can log into the companion app. Chat with 6 agents via EAHELP but they couldn't offer any concrete solutions. We used my mobile hotspot, wired and WiFi and the results are the same.

I can play all my other online games on PS5, so it is not a network issue. I didnt change any settings from Saturday as well.

also, there was downtime on the servers because my friend from Singapore was still playing.

    Ok not solved. Attempted to log in today and the same thing resumed. I cannot be rebooting my router and modem every time i want to play eafc!!

    Ok solved. I could log in using my mobile phone as a hotspot - meaning there was something wrong with the ISP. Contacted them and they suggested powering down everything: router modem ps5 and unplug it for 5 mins.

    switched everything back on and i can log in now.

    I have the same issues it’s been 7 days for me now I’m on Xbox

    • Where issue occurs when I try to play the game 
    • Error message
    • you have lost your online connection. Check your home network. You will not be able to access online features until you can reconnect to EA servers
