Companion App Features Disable

I played FUT during the EA Play trial, utilized the Companion App multiple times during that time. I bought the full game, logged on to the Companion App today, and multiple places say 'feature disable'. I am unable to do anything useful on it. This is disappointing and I feel as though I have wasted my money. Seems like this has been a known issue for over a week according to the EA Help chat, they advised I posted here.
