Thanks for the details. Could you upload the screenshot of the error message? It doesn't look like that made it into your post, but that can help us determine whether this is a connection issue or an EA Account sign-in issue.
In the meantime, could you also try logging in to your EA Account on the EA website to make sure you can sign in successfully and that your PlayStation account is linked under Connections?
If you haven't already, I'd also go through these steps, specifically power cycling the router and changing your DNS to see if there's any improvement.
