Well, not sure if you got anything working but I'm still unable to connect to the servers - it's not the ISP.
I have a laptop with the installation on that I try and this does connect. But the game judders too much to play.
Account issue? - probably not as connects on laptop
So config on the desktop? - probably not as nothing else is impacted.
Problem with the desktop install? - probably not as un-installed, directory cleared, re-installed ... same issue.
Registry issue? - maybe. What are all the associate registry entries to remove?
Can I raise a proper support ticket? Of course not. The chatbot just loops to the same articles that do nothing.

At this point, I think it's a bug on EA's end because I've tried so many things and it still doesn't work. I contacted support, and they said everything looks fine on my end and that they've forwarded it to the game team.
