Controller connected but not working in online games

So my controller is correctly connected and works perfectly in manus and games Vs AI (squad battles for example) but when try playing online (rivals for example) my players just do random things like...

I have exactly the same issue. I can switch controllers mid game but the problem remains. I have used Xbox controller and Gamesir controller, both have the same issue.
