Squad Battles matches crash when a goal is scored in the final minutes, stoppage time, or extra time to take the lead. This bug causes the game to freeze, typically during the celebration animation, and results in a 0-3 loss and zero points for the match.
Late goal celebrations have been crashing the game for me. I MAY have found a fix:
Windows +R, then %appdata%. Find the "EA" folder and delete it. From there, go into the EA app, select "library" and click three dots in upper-right corner of EAFC26. Select "repair". I've played three matches with late goals since and it has not crashed for me. It used to crash 100% of the time before the fix.
