Can someone help me? I'm getting this error when I try to launch the game on my PC using Steam: "An unexpected game shutdown was detected. Please relaunch the game or contact EA Help if this continues. (0xC0000409)"

Hello, just download fc26 live editor, open the game from it and u good to go, that's how I finally fixed it after trying every freakin things. Downside is u can play only offline.

If you are still encountering this error today, please go through this guide to download the latest VC++ and .dll files.
It might also help to reinstall the game and confirm you are playing using an Administrator account on your PC, if you are not, you can configure a new administrator account using this Microsoft guide.
If the above doesn't help, make sure all other background applications are closed, reinstall the EA Javelin anticheat, and check for the latest graphics and OS updates. There might be a pending update to install.
