FC 26 – Massive FPS drop in matches (menu fine)
I’m having a serious performance issue in FC 26.
In the menus the game runs fine (80–90 FPS), but as soon as I start a match, FPS drops to 5–10.
My GPU goes to 100% usage, while CPU stays around 10%.
I’m using an NVIDIA GTX 1650.
What’s strange is that my friend with a weaker GTX 960 gets stable 60 FPS with similar settings.
I’ve already tried:
- lowering all graphics settings
- crowd quality on low
- FPS capped at 60
- V-Sync on/off
- different screen modes
- latest NVIDIA drivers
Nothing helped. This looks like an engine/optimization bug rather than a hardware issue.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Any workaround or official response from EA?
